Virtually unable to use as it only works from about 10 feet and only has two functions. Needs greater distance and more options or add a more powerful hand held device at the end of a cable,,,,while bulky, better than nothing which is what I have today.

The ball machine itself is great, the remote sucks hard. It is impossible to tell if the machine has received the message from the remote and the device itself is very hard to use. They need to throw out the design of this remote and get one that works consistantly.

This remote only works at a short distance and must be in the direct line of sight. Will not work from base line to base line. You have to walk to the net and be in the direct line of sight for it to be effective. By then the machine has served at least one or two balls.

The remote is not perfect, but a good and essential investment and tool to have with you on the court. It will save you time, energy, and spent balls running to the machine to turn it off during breaks (unless you can -- or want to -- hit 100+ balls regularly without breaks). The only drawback is its range and reliability. It's only good from about the net, and even then it takes several attempts to get the machine to either stop or start. I don't believe it's the fom (the hand-held device), but rather the receiver on the ball machine itself. Whatever the case, despite its flakiness, I'm glad I added the remote feature. No regrets!

Overall product is good. Need more range on the remote for lessons and self drills. Currently only getting about 10 - 12 feet.
More functionality will assist when combined with range improvements.
