Does everything you would want from a charger. It is fast charging, 2-3 hours. It signals when it is charging and when charging is complete. Allows you to keep charger connected to ball machine all the time, without overcharging the battery.

With the smart charger, it's great 'cause I don't worry overcharging the ball machine if I forget to unplug the charger on time. May I add about the Tennis Tutor Ball Machine. It makes a very disturbing sound when used at a top speed. I hope it's not broken, I just got it this year, 2008 from the same manufacturer.

I like the machine but it's heavy. The lighter one has lesser ball speed. I wanted to get the one with a spin but it's larger and much heavier.
